Reserve Chardonnay
Wine
Ashton Hills Reserve Chardonnay draws from the Piccadilly Valley, the coldest and wettest part of the Adelaide Hills, conditions ideal for growing Chardonnay.
The grapes are handpicked, chilled and gently pressed to a mix of new and seasoned French oak. Fermentation is sparked by indigenous yeasts, the wine aged on full lees for nine months. Regular stirring builds texture.
The final blend is made from a careful selection of barrels chosen to balance power with elegance.
Pale straw, Ashton Hills Reserve Chardonnay has a powerful fruit profile, mouth watering acidity and talcy phenolics.
Produced only in limited quantities. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
